In partnership with Snehajyot Divyang Seva Pratishthan, we identified a few skilled handicapped technicians who had learned their trade through determination and practice but were struggling to grow their small repair businesses. Each had a unique story—some had taught themselves by watching YouTube videos, others had apprenticed with local shop owners who believed in their abilities despite societal prejudices. These individuals possessed the knowledge and customer relationships needed to succeed—they simply needed access to professional-grade equipment that would match their expertise.

We provided these technicians with mobile repair tools, including precision screwdrivers, multimeters, soldering equipment, heat guns, and advanced diagnostic tools. The investment went beyond just equipment; we also included specialized components like replacement screens, charging ports, and circuit boards that would allow them to handle a full range of repairs. The transformation was immediate and heartening to witness. Where once they had to turn away customers with complex phone issues or water-damaged devices, they could now handle screen replacements, battery installations, and intricate circuit repairs with confidence and speed.

The ripple effects extended far beyond technical capabilities. One technician shared how he could finally support his family without depending on others, while another spoke of the pride he felt when customers specifically sought him out for difficult repairs.
